Throughout March, the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) will be debuting a marketing campaign to encourage women to purchase jewelry for themselves. Launching March 1, 2020, the campaign was designed to align with International Women’s Day, which is celebrated on March 8.

According to WJA, a 2018 MVI Marketing study found that 51% of women polled said they buy jewelry for themselves, although two years later, the percentage has gone down.

For retailers that are interested in participating in the campaign, and would like to use WJA’s premade marketing materials—original logos, tagline, and brand guide—they can do so for free if they are currently (or wish to become) WJA corporate members.

If you are currently a corporate member, contact WJA Executive Director Jennifer Markas at or WJA Membership Coordinator Rachel Jurisz at to get access to the marketing materials.

If you'd like to become a WJA corporate member, visit Once you’ve signed up, contact either Jennifer or Rachel for the "March is Me Month" marketing materials.
