A new Shopify app built by Smart Age Solutions helps jewelers extend JM Care Plan—Jewelers Mutual® Group’s jewelry care offering—into their Shopify online store and Shopify POS.

New York, NY — May 20, 2026 — Smart Age Solutions, a leading digital marketing and web development agency serving the jewelry industry, today announced the official launch of Smart Care, a Shopify app that enables jewelers to offer JM Care Plan—Jewelers Mutual Group’s jewelry care program—directly through their Shopify online store and Shopify POS.

Built specifically for jewelry retailers using Shopify, the Smart Care app allows participating jewelers to present JM Care Plan as an add-on during online checkout and at point-of-sale through Shopify POS—giving shoppers a seamless way to protect their purchase while helping retailers capture care plan attachment revenue that is often missed in digital environments.

JM Care Plan has long been offered by jewelers in-store as part of the post-sale customer experience. As more retailers expand into e-commerce, however, presenting care plans consistently across online and in-store touchpoints has remained a challenge. Smart Care addresses this gap for Shopify-based jewelers by making JM Care Plan available within the Shopify checkout flow and Shopify POS—so jewelers can offer a consistent care plan experience wherever their customers shop.

Smart Age Solutions developed the Smart Care app to align with how jewelers sell and how their customers shop. Jewelers already offering JM Care Plan can contact their Jewelers Mutual Group representative to add Smart Care to their Shopify environment. Jewelers new to JM Care Plan can reach out to Jewelers Mutual Group or Smart Age Solutions to begin the onboarding process.
