Founded in 1997, Luxare by Diaspark has spent nearly three decades building software purpose-built for the jewelry and watch industry, rather than adapting generic retail technology to fit it. What began with a single jewelry manufacturing ERP customer has grown into a suite covering the full value chain of the industry: manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and repair. Point-of-sale and inventory management for retailers followed in 2014, and repair operations in 2019, the two areas where Luxare is putting its fastest growth today. That growth has brought the platform to more than 70 leading jewelry businesses, including Helzberg and Roberto Coin.
“A manufacturing client’s need is what pulled us deeper into the industry, and the more we learned, the clearer it became that jewelry, at every stage, runs on realities generic software just isn’t built for,” says Rohan Gujrati, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Luxare. “Gemstone and metal level attributes, consignment and memo inventory, vendor and production tracking, repair intake and multi-stage tracking, and appraisal documentation. Those aren’t edge cases in this industry. They’re the job. We’ve never tried to make jewelry businesses fit our software. We build the software to fit the business.”
What sets Luxare apart, Rohan says, is building around the fact that a jewelry business doesn’t run on one uniform workflow, no matter where it sits in the value chain. “A customer buys an engagement ring at your flagship location, brings it in for a repair at a location across the state two years later, and expects the same standard of service either way.” Rohan adds, “A manufacturer and a wholesaler have that same expectation from their own side of the business: every relationship is unique, but everyone expects the same standard, whether that’s a retail customer, a wholesale account, or a production partner.”
Helzberg describes the experience this way. “The Luxare team feels like an extension of ours. They created a training manual and video that got our team up and running in no time. The setup was simple and quick. They understand who we are and what we are trying to accomplish, which has made it easy to overcome the challenges we have faced,” says Brian Wulff, DVP, Customer Experience at Helzberg.
Luxare exhibited at AGS Conclave 2026 as a first-time exhibitor. “Being part of the AGS community gives us direct access to the people actually running these businesses, across manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and repair, and that feedback is exactly what shapes our roadmap,” states Rohan. “What keeps us engaged is what this community can become: a group genuinely dedicated to advancing technology in the jewelry industry, where manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and technology partners work through these problems together, not just vendors selling to any one part of the chain.”
