It’s Almost Time: The 2026 AGS Recertification Exam

The American Gem Society (AGS) recertification exam is coming soon. It’s a reminder of the commitment our credentialed members make each year to uphold professional standards in the jewelry industry.

Why recertify?

  • Stand out professionally: Your AGS credential or designation helps distinguish you in the industry.
  • Stay informed: Keep your knowledge aligned with today’s best practices.
  • Earn client trust: Clients appreciate professionals who prioritize learning.
  • Keep your credentials active: Recertification ensures your achievements remain recognized.

All active AGS credentialed members who have earned their credential or designation before December 1, 2025, are required to recertify.

Once the exam is open, we will email members who are required to take it, and we will continue to communicate with you throughout the recertification period.
