The series is open to AGS members and invited non-members. The level of personal and/or financial information disclosed during both the lectures and the private coaching sessions is entirely at the discretion of each participant.

Pat founded Obsidian Business Planning Solutions over 35 years ago and has spent his career helping business owners create comprehensive plans to build, protect, and transition their financial and business assets. As a business owner, he understands the challenge of managing the day-to-day issues of running a company while making plans to preserve its future success. Pat frequently speaks to groups of business owners including the American Gem Society's 2022 Conclave and the annual conference of advisor members of Business Enterprise Institute. Pat holds a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College of Financial Services.
