This month, we are excited to introduce Courtney Sivard, CSA!
Courtney serves as Director of Marketing for BC Clark Jewelers in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she leads the company’s brand strategy, creative direction, advertising, eCommerce, digital marketing, and customer experience initiatives. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Marketing, Courtney began her career outside the jewelry industry before joining BC Clark, where she discovered a passion for combining storytelling, education, and luxury retail to help clients celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
Through her work at BC Clark, Courtney has helped modernize the company’s marketing strategy, expand its digital presence, and create meaningful experiences that connect new generations of clients with one of Oklahoma’s most historic jewelry retailers. She believes that every interaction, whether in-store or online, is an opportunity to build trust, educate consumers, and celebrate life’s most meaningful milestones.
Courtney has been an active member of the American Gem Society’s Young Titleholders since 2021 and now serves as Chair of the committee. She is passionate about creating opportunities for professionals from every background and is committed to fostering a community where future leaders are developed through education, mentorship, collaboration, and lasting relationships.
An AGS Certified Sales Associate (CSA) and JA Certified Management Professional, Courtney believes the future of the jewelry industry depends on welcoming diverse perspectives while preserving the ethics, professionalism, and commitment to consumer trust that define the American Gem Society.
One of the greatest lessons Courtney has learned through AGS is that this industry isn’t just built on diamonds and gemstones; it’s built on people. Her hope is that every young professional, regardless of their background, feels like there’s a place for them here. You don’t have to have a long history or connection in jewelry to become a leader in it. Leadership is earned through curiosity, service, and a commitment to helping others grow.
