The American Gem Society’s (AGS) Digital Badging
Program will make your professional achievements more accessible and visible to a wider audience.
What is Digital Badging?
A digital badge is a graphical icon that indicates your credentials and accomplishments and are displayed, accessed, and verified online. The badges can be added to your email signature, website, or social media.
Anyone can click on your badge, which then takes them to an online source that goes into further detail about why you have earned that badge, the methods you took to achieve it, and how you are working to maintain your credentials.
As an AGS titleholder, you have pledged to uphold the AGS mission of maintaining and promoting strong business ethics, continuing your education, and protecting the consumer. Think of digital badging as that wall behind your desk or counter where you
proudly display your hard-earned certificates. You can't take it with you, but with digital badging, you can!
