Conclave Speakers Needed for Seattle 2019!

Here’s your chance to be part of the premier education event in the jewelry industry! We are now accepting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to present at the 85th annual Conclave in Seattle, WA, April 8-10, 2019.

We are looking for content leaders on a variety of general topics. Have another idea? We are open to suggestions!

We are looking to include more panel discussions, insider insights, sessions for varying educational levels (i.e. beginner, intermediate, advanced), and hands-on classes.

It’s the mix that matters. The collective diversity among our speakers is one of the great strengths of our Conclave program and has helped make it the most trusted source of information on gemology and business in our industry. We make a conscious effort to preserve this diversity which enriches the learning experience for our attendees.

Please submit your speaker Request for Proposal by August 10, 2018. Each submission will be reviewed and you will be notified by November 30, 2018, on the status of your submission.

The American Gem Society (AGS) is a nonprofit trade association of fine jewelry professionals dedicated to setting, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional behavior through education, accreditation, recertification of its membership, gemological standards, and gemological research.

The Society is committed to providing educational products to inform and protect the consumer and to contributing to the betterment of the trade by creating industry standards to protect the jewelry-buying public and the fine jewelry industry as a whole.

AGS Laboratories, founded to support the AGS mission, is a nonprofit diamond grading laboratory with a mission of consumer protection. Adhering to the AGS Diamond Grading Standards, AGS Laboratories is dedicated to offering diamond grading reports that provide consistency and accuracy based on science.
