Compassion, hope, and leadership run strong in the AGS community. When a fellow member needs assistance, it doesn’t take long for their voice to be heard and answered.

On May 31, John Carter, CGA, posted in the AGS members-only Facebook group, asking the community how they could help fellow jewelers who made be in need of jewelry displays, tools, mirrors, gemology equipment…anything they could spare to send to colleagues in their time of need.

This effort has inspired the AGS Matchmaking Program. If a member has items available to donate or is requesting items, they simply fill out an online form. The Membership team will then match those firms who are either donating or requesting items with each other.

We’d like to thank the following organizations for their donation offers:

  • Diamond Designs
  • Fischler Diamonds, Inc.
  • Gleim the Jeweler
  • Jewelers Helping Jewelers
  • KR Diamonds
  • Lasker Jewelers
  • Laura Stanley Personal Jeweler
  • Nanasi Enterprises, Inc.
