80's Apres Ski Conclave always ends on a high note with the much-anticipated President's Party. This themed celebration is hosted by the president of the AGS Board of Directors and includes Conclave attendees dancing the night away to an incredible band.

Since Conclave was planned for Denver this year, the theme was to be 80's Après Ski, and we're feeling pretty bummed that we can't wear our neon parkas and leg warmers. Or can we?

We're excited to announce the first-ever AGS Virtual Dance Party! We polled members using songs from the soundtrack for Hot Tub Time Machine (a movie about a ski resort in the 80s) and polled the AGS community via Facebook to find out which 80's song to play. The winner? "Modern Love" by David Bowie.

How can you be a part of the Virtual Dance Party? See below to find out how you can be part of the AGS Virtual Dance Party:

  1. Play David Bowie's "Modern Love." If you don't have it, you can listen to it for free on YouTube.
  2. Film yourself dancing to the song! You can include your significant other, your kids or your pets. Dress in your 80's après ski gear or anything you want. We just want to see your dance moves!
  3. Send the Marketing team your video one of three ways:

Please send your video by Tuesday, April 14. If you have any questions, please email us at marketing@ags.org. We can't wait to see you dance!
