Earn Your AGS Credentials With a Scholarship for GIA Education

We've recently sent out a couple of e-blasts regarding a generous scholarship from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to help fund GIA education for American Gem Society members.

This gift, made possible by a grant from the GIA Endowment Fund, provides AGS members scholarships to the prerequisite education required to earn their Registered Jeweler (RJ) credentials.

Education covered under the scholarship:

  • Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP)
  • Diamond Grading Lab in Carlsbad, CA or New York, NY

The AGS will administer the awards. All eligible recipients must be AGS members and meet certain requirements.
