Social media has proven to be an effective—and fun—form of marketing for the jewelry industry! We've seen some great posts by our AGS Retail members who have found the value of adding social media to their marketing mix. Here are a few we'd like to share. Perhaps they'll inspire some great ideas for your own posts!
Feature the AGS ASET
Field's Jewelers has found their ASET to be a true asset on social media. This particular post recently appeared on both Facebook and Instagram, and they've received over 200 views...and counting!
Custom Design from Start to Finish
We love how Alyea's Jewellers captured the creation process of a custom design. Every few weeks, they'd post the progress of this incredible creation, giving their followers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the birth of this beauty.
Use Your Expertise to Educate
Caves Jewelry Inc. put together a series of short videos discussing each of the 4Cs. It took a lot of time and planning, but they had a staggering amount of views between Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. They even ended the series with a fun blooper reel!
Not everyone has the time or resources to make a video or document the steps of a design process, but there are so many other ways you can speak to your audience.
- Share an upcoming event or trunk show
- Post a photo or video of a favorite piece in your store and tell your followers why you love it
- You can even share a funny meme you read that morning
