The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has begun its revision of the Green Guides, covering a variety of topics related to the jewelry industry. The Green Guides apply across industries, which means answering these questions and providing data and evidence is paramount to ensure the jewelry industry is well-represented in the revisions.
Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) is coordinating an industry-wide response on January 26, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. ET. In this open forum, JVC invites the jewelry community to join them in conversation about your concerns and viewpoints regarding these revisions. JVC will particularly focus on recycled claims and advocating for a clear definition of sustainability.
