About the Panelists

Phillip Bosen, CG Moderator: Phillip Bosen, CG, Bosen Associates LLC

Phillip Bosen has been in the industry since he was a kid in his family's jewelry store. He has worked for some of the best retailers in the country in a variety of positions, including manager, trainer, special forces, Director of Operations, and now as an independent consultant. Phillip has a passion for helping retail jewelers improve both their business and life.
Amanda Coleman-Phillips

Panelist: Amanda Coleman-Phelps, CGA

Amanda is in the 6th generation of the Nelson Coleman Jewelers family business and worked sporadically in the business while she attended classes at Essex Community college of Baltimore County. At age 23 she made the decision to work full time at Nelson Coleman Jewelers and to make it her career. After working for one year in the business she attended the residence program at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad California which she completed in September of 2005. Since then Amanda has completed the Registered Jewelers program and received her Certified Gemologist Appraisers title with the American Gem Society in 2008. She has been with Nelson Coleman Jewelers full time for four years and plans to continue her education and growth in the industry.

Adam Graham, CSA
Panelist: Adam Graham, CSA

Adam Graham is the Western Sales Director for Joshua J Fine Jewelry. In his long jewelry career, he has held executive roles with some of the industry’s best known companies, including Omi Gems, Erica Courtney, AGTA, Saks Fifth Avenue, Rapaport and AGS. He has presented sessions at AGS Conclaves, JCK Shows and countless other regional association meetings. He started two AGS Guilds, is currently a member of the AGS Orange County Guild, and the Vice President of the Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California. In 2017, Adam was awarded the Sally Morton Award for his contributions to the AGS Guilds.
Melissa Quick Panelist: Melissa Quick

Melissa Quick is President of Steve Quick Jeweler located in Chicago, Illinois. She started her career in the jewelry industry working in the wholesale diamond business learning the ropes from the inside out. In her free time, she helped her husband, Steve, at his retail store Steve Quick Jeweler until joining him full time in 1999. Since then, they have seen their business and reputation grow and Steve Quick Jeweler is now considered the “go-to” place in Chicago for ethically sourced, small-batch designer jewelry.
