Presentation:

Dacques Nini has had many years of adventures in some of the most famous and exotic localities where diamonds and colored gemstones are mined. Dacques recently returned from the magnificent Ural Mountains. He will share his experiences, insights, and discuss the region and its mining developments. Come join us as we journey into the history of the region and the mystery of the famous Ural Mountains. You’ll learn about the Malysheva Emerald Mines: emeralds, alexandrite; Karkodino Mines: demantoid garnet; Vishnevogorsk Mine: apatite, moonstone, sunstone; and the Corundum Mine: blue corundum and polychrome corundum.
