The Arizona Guild Presents

Evolution of Design: Jewelry of the 60s & 70s
by Gina D’Onofrio

Gina D'OnofrioIn partnership with GIA Metro Phoenix Alumni Chapter.

Join Gina D'Onofrio, Heritage Auctions Director of Fine Jewelry, Beverly Hills, as she dives into the evolution of jewelry design during the 1960s and 1970s. She'll explore the art, fashion, social and economic influences on jewelry design during those vibrant decades, and discover who the leading designers and influencers were in Europe and the USA.

Gina’s presentation should have us walk away feeling confident that we can circa date jewelry from this exciting period. She will also be able to answer any questions relating to the jewelry auction market and process.

Gina’s extensive involvement in the jewelry industry prior to joining Heritage, included working in the retail, auction, and manufacturing sectors to jewelry design and production, appraisals, buying and selling of contemporary, antique and period jewelry, sales and management. She operated an independent gemological laboratory, appraisal service and consulting firm, even receiving Los Angeles magazine’s coveted “Best in LA” award for her appraisal services.

Gina also served as Gems and Jewelry Education Chair for the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and is co-instructor for their Appraisal Report Writing for Insurance Coverage course. There’s nothing she can’t do!
