Walter will address what makes a piece of jewelry fall into these categories by looking for the telltale signs of design, manufacture, and age. Secondly, he will delve into the social, cultural, political and economic atmospheres of the various eras and how they shaped the aesthetic practices of the time.

The goal is not only to teach you how to recognize and categorize vintage and estate jewelry, but to understand the stories and histories behind them, to help you engage with your clientele, and add value to the estate and vintage pieces that you sell.
