American Gem Society Announces Featured Speakers for 2012 Conclave
Turn up the heat on communication, customer service and marketing
November 3, 2011, Las Vegas, NV. Zap the generation gap, create the ultimate customer experience, and learn how to create a marketing program from tips as handy and trusted as a roll of duct tape. These are three of the techniques that AGS Conclave attendees will learn at the 2012 Conclave in Miami, Florida.
The father and daughter team of Larry and Meagan Johnson will present Zap the Gap! Making the Inter-generational Workforce Work! The Johnsons will outline the dominant generational forces in the workplace and how each generation’s “signposts” drive motivation, influence loyalty and deliver high quality services.
The Johnsons co-authored Generations Inc: From Boomers to Linksters, Managing the Friction Between Generations at Work. Meagan is a generations’ expert and her dad, Larry, is an expert in corporate culture. Together, they share the unique perspectives of a Gen-X daughter and Baby Boomer dad, demonstrating how each understands, communicates, motivates and manages different generations found in the workplace today.
In Creating the Ultimate Customer Experience, featured speaker Scott Deming breaks all boundaries of the typical customer service or brand building processes and dispels the popular yet incorrect thinking that advertising and marketing lead to powerful, emotional brands. He takes his audiences on a fast-paced, high energy journey through the six critical steps to creating the ultimate customer experience and building their powerful, emotional brand.
Deming is an international keynote speaker, business trainer, and a leading authority on the topics of teamwork, successful sales techniques, brand building and creating the ultimate customer experience. He is the author of the best-selling book, The Brand Who Cried Wolf. He has presented for thousands of people including US senators and on two separate occasions for President Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Marketing superstar John Jantsch, will present Duct Tape Marketing for Small Business, and will offer business marketing strategies, ideas and hands-on tips that, like a trusty roll of duct tape, are simple, effective and affordable. Jantsch is a marketing and digital technology coach, award winning social media publisher and author of Duct Tape Marketing and The Referral Engine. He is the creator of the Duct Tape Marketing System and Duct Tape Marketing Coach Network that trains and licenses small business marketing coaches around the world.
Jantsch is also the featured marketing contributor to American Express OPENForum and is a popular presenter of workshop and webinars for organizations such as American Express, Intuit, Verizon, HP, and Citrix, as well as an expert resource for the Wall St. Journal, New York Times, and CNNMoney.
The AGS will be making more announcements in the upcoming weeks about the 2012 Conclave, as well as publishing registration information.
