AGS Has Its Day at JCK Toronto
The Society to offer special 1-day program for members

July 22, 2011 Las Vegas – American Gem Society members will have their own day at JCK Toronto, on Monday, August 8th, with a special luncheon and cocktail reception, as well as an educational program on customer engagement. Not only will the event provide an additional networking opportunity for retailers and suppliers, but the members will learn how they can sell more diamonds using the AGS Presentation ASET, a proprietary  device available to AGS members only that shows a diamond’s light performance.

“The Canadian market is an important part of the jewelry industry, and we wanted to give our members, especially the Canadian ones, an opportunity to participate in AGS programming that they might not otherwise be able to do,” said Ruth Batson, Executive Director and CEO of the American Gem Society. “It’s also a great way for the membership to stay in touch outside of Conclave and guild meetings.”

The AGS program, “The AGS ASET Engagement,” is a method retailers can use to engage their customers in a compelling and non-technical presentation using the AGS Presentation ASET at the sales counter.  Participants will learn the steps that introduce the ASET to every customer, relate the value of shopping with an American Gem Society member, promote the integrity of AGS Laboratory documents, and showcase diamonds.
