To better ensure your safety, AGS is using 42Chat’s health screening texting service, which provides monitoring and screening for COVID-19 symptoms. These check-ins are to be completed daily, per our Safety Acknowledgment that all attendees were asked to sign before attending Conclave.

These machines are available to you at Conclave. Please have your temperature checked upon arrival into the event space. They will be located on the Sky Bridge. Thermal scanners are a contactless way to check your temperature. If you need further assistance, please ask one of the nearby Safety Ambassadors. Look for their red safety vests.

Conclave has worked closely with the Sheraton Dallas Hotel to implement cleaning and sanitization standards that meet or exceed the recommendations of the CDC. It is the responsibility of everyone to maintain personal hygiene, including washing hands frequently. Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout Conclave.

The American Gem Society (“AGS”) is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all participants in events held or sponsored by AGS. AGS will communicate preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in advance and during the event. However, AGS cannot guarantee that its members, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not be exposed or become infected with COVID-19. In light of the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall within a high-risk category may want to refrain from attending in-person events.

If you are unable to attend due to COVID-19, please submit your request to either roll over your registration to the 2022 Conclave, or request a refund. The 2022 Conclave will take place April 25–27 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests are not currently required in order to attend Conclave.
We are fully committed to creating an environment where the AGS community can get back to business while prioritizing health and safety. Our current health and safety guidelines include wearing face coverings, increased sanitation, hygiene, and physical distancing as well as additional staff to support implementation. We are also working closely with Sheraton Dallas Hotel to follow their protocols. Guidelines will continue to evolve leading up to Conclave to reflect current guidance.
Yes. To ensure the maximum safety of our attendees, we are following the CDC guidelines on face coverings. We require all individuals to wear face coverings while attending events relating to Conclave. Additional details and guidelines on acceptable face coverings can be found here.

Everyone is expected to fully comply with all health and safety guidelines. Acknowledging the guidelines and agreeing to comply is a requirement of entry (see the COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgment above). We will have specially-designated Safety Ambassadors walking the event to ensure all guidelines are being followed, including wearing face coverings.
