Jamie joined De Beers’ Central Selling Organisation in London as a Trainee Diamond Valuator in January 1997. Following 3 years of intensive rough and rough-to-polished diamond learning, Jamie then spent several years working at De Beers operations in Belgium, South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
Once back in London, Jamie became an instrumental part of the design and roll-out of the De Beers’ BPPs across the global Sightholder network. Jamie moved to the start-up Forevermark brand to define and implement the Forevermark Sourcing Criteria and the Pipeline Integrity Standard of tracking and traceability.
Today, Jamie leads the IIDGR Commercial Team and the UK diamond laboratory teams, as well as Consumer Confidence products and services, such as the provision of leading detection instruments, testing services and identifying new opportunities for IIDGR, appealing to an evolving market.
