Growth continues to outpace comparative industry websites.
LAS VEGAS—The American Gem Society™ released 12-month statistics for its website, AmericanGemSociety.org – the highest in the organization’s history. In addition, AmericanGemSociety.org achieved its highest Alexa® score ranking to-date; reaching the number one position among member-based jewelry trade organizations. With its continued rise, the site is tracking to hit the 1,000,000 visits milestone by year-end.
Representatives of the American Gem Society attribute the site’s steady growth to daily site management and updated content, promotion, and the Society’s overall commitment to its success.
“In February 2006, the American Gem Society Board of Directors approved an initiative to build and foster the strongest, most comprehensive and unbiased online resource for consumers. After nearly 12-months, the achieved results have exceeded every projection and goal. Consumer response to the website has been nothing short of outstanding, said Ruth Batson, Executive Director and CEO of the American Gem Society.“The site continues to grow and build every day, and most importantly proves invaluable in generating traffic for our retail members – both their stores and their websites.
