The Houston Guild Presents

Jewelry Crimes, Awareness & Safety

The Houston Chapter of the Women’s Jewelry Association is partnering with GIA and the American Gem Society to bring you a presentation by local jewelry crimes expert, FBI Special Agent, Mario Aguilar.

Due to the nature of our business, we are often targets of jewelry crimes. Special Agent Mario Aguilar will speak with us about the workings of some theft groups, i.e., the South American Theft Groups—their techniques, and clues for targeting their victims. He will also talk about the O'brien Roof Top Burglary Crew; as well as present several videos of robberies in the Houston/Dallas Metro areas.

Special Agent Mario Aguilar has learned quite a few lessons and security tips from his experiences. We look forward to him sharing these lessons and tips with us!
